ABOUT THE UNITED WAY

Every year, an estimated 10,000 people are touched by the helping hand of the United Way in the Central and South Okanagan.

The United Way provides funding to programs that support a broad range of health and social issues right here in our communities. It's our job to make sure your gift gets to the people who need it most, ensuring that each dollar makes the most impact in improving the quality of life here in the Okanagan.

Combining the gifts of all our donors ensures that a comprehensive network of programs and services are available for people when they need them.

All programs and services supported through the United Way Community Care Fund are reviewed to ensure they are needed, effective and efficient.

As a donor, you can choose to support the Community Care Fund or one or more of the following United Way areas of service:

Assisting children, families and individuals
Promoting health, safety and accessibility
Addressing poverty
Supporting Seniors
